Drive it Forward
We’ve had a long tradition of giving–locally globally, and some places in-between. We’ll give our money or our time and talents, but either way, we’ll always give our hearts.
To name a few, we’ve cleaned up the neighborhood, held funktastic fundraisers for food pantries, designed a mantra for a young teen fighting cancer, partnered with two amazing women to support those who struggle with mental illness and climbed the mountains in Haiti to provide medical aid.
For this rambunctious team of drivers, giving is a way of life, which means there’s not much we’d say no to. We do good work for good people– for-profit clients or otherwise. All we ask of you is that you believe in what you’re doing, it’s not the price tag that makes that worthwhile.
Founded on one simple phrase “Doing good through adventure,” Pyxis Rose was formed by Thelma Maguire and Val Rothen to advocate for adolescent mental health through adventures. Each adventure not only works to represent the challenges young people face when managing mental health concerns but also to raise funds and awareness towards treatment.
Raising the Valley is a network of health and human service professionals that ensures all families in the Mt. Washington Valley have well-coordinated resources for acquiring the skills and support their children need to enhance their development and learning through the early years.
Assistance Canine Training Services (ACTS) is a nonprofit that trains service dogs for people with mobility disabilities and facility dogs for professionals using animal-assisted therapy in their full-time practices or jobs. ACTS’ dogs are raised by local volunteer puppy raisers who take the puppies into their homes at the age of eight weeks and keep them for up to two years.
The Blue Angels Foundation (BAF) supports wounded veterans in their path of transition back to the civilian community and a life of dignity and fulfillment. The BAF supports organizations that assist with transitional housing, counseling, PTSD resolution, permanent housing, life skills, transportation and employment for veterans.
The Haiti Plunge is a nonprofit organization that organizes teams exclusively for the purpose of building village partnerships in the Cabaret Region of Haiti. The organization educates, challenges and empowers both American and Haitian youth in social, educational and agricultural sustainable development. The organization is committed to enabling young people to make a difference with their lives and be of service to others.
If those samples don’t get the point across, here’s a list of other organizations we’ve done work for in the past. They’re large and small organizations. They’re municipal, not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. Some had grants, some asked for our help and some we reached out to. We’re really trying to drive home that we do work for all kinds of people. You and your project could be one of them.
