Social Media/Content Coordinator

This is a writing-heavy position, and you will be engaging in every aspect of social media and content production—developing social posts (writing, editing video and photos, etc); strategizing and scheduling content for effective growth, engagement and conversion; working in teams to implement campaigns; troubleshooting social media platforms; general copywriting; monitoring and engaging social mentions; and building digestible analytic reports. Other types of content production also include press releases, copywriting, blog writing, etc.

1–2 years of experience in content creation.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Deadline-driven with a keen ability to produce effective content within short turnaround times.
Passion for storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written.
Deep knowledge of social media management platforms.
Proven results in growing engaged social media audiences.
Fluency in cultural trends and news in priority categories like software personal/consumer technology, productivity, culture, music, film, etc.
The ability to see how social media fits within a larger campaign.
The ability to balance insights and creativity to engage clients’ communities and is able to combine both storytelling and tactical campaign messaging to build purposeful online content.
Intermediate experience with Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, etc.) *video production is a big plus.

Our creative team is looking for a designer steeped in visual brand development with a kick-ass portfolio to prove it. Someone who can develop an on-brand aesthetic from logo to color palette, and mood to typography. What sets you apart is having the chops to bring that brand to life with stunning motion graphics and video post-production across a wide variety of media.

Top 10 skills we’re looking for:
Strong logo design background, with an understanding of typography, layout, form and color.
At least 3 years of professional brand experience and all of its various shapes, sizes and platforms.
Expertise in Adobe CC, especially in Premiere and After Effects as essential skills.
Mastery of motion graphics and its development in various media.
Video editing and post-production, plus the ability to infuse with effects, motion graphics and other elements. This includes video sequence and storyboard development.
Excellent time management skills, demonstrated ability to organize, set and implement priorities while balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Comprehensive knowledge of emerging creative technologies, best practices and experimental approaches in design, marketing and brand communications.
Deadline-driven, with the knowledge of prepping design files for print and online delivery, ensuring all deliverables are on time and carefully exported to output specifications.
Outstanding communication skills with an eagerness to collaborate and interact with clients.
Strong understanding of reaching target audiences and brand goals.

We’re looking for an experienced writer with a love for cohesive narratives, skilled in the art of brand storytelling through a marketing or PR campaign. We’re looking for someone who can shape content into compelling stories in the form of press releases, advertorials/branded content, blogs, short-form content, etc. Of course, key to the success of this role is the ability to be collaborative, as this role crosses over various teams and clients.
