Cranmore Mountain Resort

Cranmore is a historic ski resort, one of the firsts on the East Coast, who has been committed to the legacy and longevity of snow sports. The resort is in the midst of a $60M redevelopment plan, which includes the construction of luxury condominiums, an expansive base lodge, retail spaces, ski patrol/first aid facility, and a new Arlberg Children’s Center (ski school). For the 2024-25 season, Cranmore has high revenue goals, with increases expected for day visits and lessons.
Time for a campaign
To create excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season, we created the “Start Something Special” campaign that encouraged guests and would-be visitors to begin their ski traditions at Cranmore. We kicked off the campaign with an online pre-sale for KidsRule, leading to a full promotional push at the annual Boston Snowbound. The booth was developed to produce a classic aprés ski vibe, which garnered praise from attendees. To keep the momentum going, we deployed digital ads (Google and Meta), organic social content, emails and media alerts to drive the Cyber Weekend sale.
Overall sales revenue more than doubled from the pre-season goal set by the resort. Additionally, social media engagement and website traffic saw a jump in metrics. Media outreach efforts led to the resort getting featured on listicles in publications like Travel + Leisure and USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
