Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce is home to the largest driver of tourism in New Hampshire. As the Chamber’s primary revenue stream is membership-based, showing the value of the organization was critical to its continued success and growth. This required a brand awareness campaign.

Catching Eyeballs

We developed “The Nature of it is…” campaign, which finished the sentence with a known sentiment that one feels when they are visiting the Valley. The campaign was designed to catch eyeballs and a nod of agreement, driving awareness of the Chamber and its resources, and thus ultimately, website traffic. The campaign was heavily supported by organic social content and paid digital advertising, with the former focusing on highlighting Valley businesses and what they offer visitors. With the 2024-25 ski season coming up, we also focused on an organic voting campaign for USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, which was key to generating buzz.

The Chamber’s website traffic surpassed 2021, 2022 and 2023. The campaign, now in its second year, continues to be praised by the community and members of the Chamber. Social media metrics also surpassed previous years and saw more engagement from members than ever. Ultimately, the Chamber’s crown jewel achievement was earned with North Conway reclaiming Best Ski Town in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for the first time since 2018.
